This is my very first website that I accepted - to be honest, at first I didn't even know if I'm able to make the site. This is a product showcaser site for my first workplace.

Progression

I worked around 2 months with this website, and it's still not done because of the product information collect process.

What to know about this website:

  • When i was making this website, I was learning PHP at a Udemy class, and continuously developed the web application on a provided server.
  • It has an almost fully operational CMS system, where the admins are able to:
  • change the Main site's look, by changing the images and the texts;
  • create new and delete admin users;
  • see the amount of the daily visitors in the last 30 days;
  • upload photos into the server's main asset folder (here the images are less secured, meaning that its more optimalisated for the visitors machine);
  • upload and edit excel files where the admin user is able to change the product's informations - for this, the website has its own system where every project is contained in an excel datasheet, and its data is securely held in a database where the web application selects the data from.
It also have a very complicated Search Engine which I made with MySQL (honestly, i reviewed the code, and i do not know how does it work) - you can read the code clicking here.

This project was a great experience for me, and learnt a lot while creating the web-application.
